Bio

I graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2005 with my first job being in NHS Forth Valley as a rotational physio. After 2 years I moved back to Edinburgh to work within the acute hospitals. I work at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in the acute admission ward, treating a wide variety of patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.

From a young age I have loved all things sporty and this is what attracted me to physiotherapy. Swimming was my main sport growing up, but this quickly expanded to other watersports, snowsports and running. I have recently completed my first triathlon. My rugby loving family sparked my interest in the game and as a student I spent time with the then Borders Rugby team and at a senior Scottish Rugby training camp. I was Lead Physiotherapist at Preston Lodge RFC for 14 years before starting at Tranent Physiotherapy.
